How this San Francisco site handles your information
This site collects almost nothing about you. It has no forms, no accounts and no analytics or advertising tags. The rest of this page covers the few points where information does move: the offer link, email and phone calls.
When you read a page
- No forms. Nothing you type on this site is sent anywhere. A date calculator on a guide does its arithmetic inside your browser.
- No accounts and no sign-in.
- No analytics or advertising tags. The pages load no tracking scripts, pixels or third-party embeds, and the site's code sets no cookies. Its fonts, images and scripts are served from this site's own address.
Like any website, the pages reach you through a hosting service (Cloudflare), which has to handle your IP address and your browser's request to deliver them. This site's own code does not save a record of who reads which page.
What the offer button passes on
The offer button opens the partner buyer's site in a new tab. Two things travel with that click. The link carries this site's partner code, which is how the buyer knows a sale came by way of this site. And because the link is set to send referrer information, your browser tells the buyer the address of the page you clicked from, so it knows which guide referred you. Nothing else goes from this site to the buyer: not your name, phone or email, because this site never has them.
Once you are on the buyer's site, its own privacy policy applies, not this one. That policy lists among its sources of information "publishers that receive commissions from us for providing referrals", and this site is one of those publishers. It also says the details its site collects automatically as you browse may include "usage details, IP addresses, geolocation, device identification information" and more. Read it before you enter details there.

When you email
Mail to help@sellmycarsanfrancisco.org is forwarded by a mail routing service to the site owner's inbox. Your message, your address and anything you attach stay in that inbox. They are used to answer you and, for a correction, to fix the page. This site has no mailing list and will not add you to one.
When you call
Calls to (628) 333-6040 are carried by a phone provider that forwards the call to a person. The provider's call log keeps the number you called from and the time of the call. This site does not record the conversation. If you text the number instead, your text and your number may be saved so the site's owner can read it.
Asking a privacy question
Write to help@sellmycarsanfrancisco.org with Privacy in the subject line. You can ask what this site holds about you, which in practice is an email thread, a call log entry or a text, and ask for your emails to be deleted. Questions about what the partner buyer holds go to the buyer, through the contact route in its policy. If the way this site works changes, this page will change with it.
